A bit of Christmas sparkle from DMC!

"We were just speaking about Christmas in the office and we realised that it's just under eight weeks until Christmas day!  How scary is that?

"As the festive season always seems to creep up on us, we always vow to make sure we get all our Christmas stitching done in time and this year is no exception!

"We’re going to try some really simple stitching (with the idea that it will not take us so long!) with some backstitch motifs on Iridescent Aida fabric.

"We are also going to have a go at using three strands of either DMC Light Effects
, DMC Satin or DMC Color Variations to make the simple designs sparkle and shine!  We’ll let you know how we get on!

"It would be lovely to hear in which ways you are using DMC threads this Christmas, so get in touch
.

Christmas gifts!

"The girls in the office are always making tassels and cords with DMC threads to make wrapping parcels really unique and special.

"We’re always thinking about gift ideas to inspire stitchers so you might like to look at Pollyanna Pickering’s
new book: Mother and Baby Animal Cross Stitch.

"Also, look out for Pollyanna's
exclusive Polar Bear design in issue 221 of CrossStitcher - it’s a perfect stitch for winter!

"Well, we’d better get back to our stitching, but don’t forget to let us know
what DMC stitching you’re doing this year!"

Best wishes,

The team at DMC
